Wait lists are kept for obedience classes that are full. Because
dog training classes are in high demand, payments must be received ONE
WEEK PRIOR to the starting date. Any spaces not reserved
at that time will be made available to the waiting list.
Please note that cancellations received with less than
48-hours notice before the course begins are subject to a Twenty Dollar cancellation fee.

Puppy Kindergarten is a fun course that teaches the foundation of basic obedience skills such as:
walking nicely on a loose leash, sit, down, stay, and Come!
We also cover common puppy issues such as housetraining, jumping up, and mouthing;
and focus on proper socialization with people and other puppies.
And yes! - puppy playtime is included.
This is a fun course and a great way to start your new family member on the path to proper canine obedience!
For participation in puppy kindergarten, all puppies must be between twelve weeks to six months of age
(toy breeds accepted to eight months)
and have their second set of shots (including a "bordatella" vaccination) at a minimum.

Traditional obedience is taught without treats in this fast-paced basic obedience course.
In addition to teaching basic obedience training commands such as heel, down, sit, stay, and Come,
we stress the importance of clear communication with your dog,
and how to use body language and voice-motivation to improve your training results.
You will also learn to command your dog by hand signal and from various positions.
Instructors spend one-on-one time with the students during each class
and are always available to answer specific questions regarding training or dog behaviours.
For dogs 6 months and older.
Please note that there are no dogs the first class.

The next step to building your dog's skills and improving your dog handling ability.
After reviewing all basic obedience commands we introduce focus building
exercises: heeling with no hands, hand signals only, and commands at a distance.
Long stays with distraction and continued
work on voice-motivation and body language ready handlers and their dogs
to move on to Advanced Obedience. Completion of Basic Obedience or an evaluation
by one of our instructors is required before joining this course.
For dogs 6 months and older.

Mondays starting October 18 2010, 6:45 - 7:30PM

This intense training course has a focus on off-leash and distance obedience
and improves upon all commands from the Basic and Intermediate Obedience courses.
Students are taught new and difficult skills including: moving sits and downs,
high and broad jumps, and drop on recall.
Completion of Intermediate Obedience is a requirement for participation in this course.
For dogs 6 months and older.

Have fun while building a good working relationship with your dog!
This indoor class runs year-round and is a great introduction
to traditional agility obstacles including: jumps, weave poles,
the teeter totter, and the tunnel. Over six weeks your dog's confidence
will grow and you will create a dynamic handler/dog team!
Some basic obedience skills are necessary before beginning
this course and participating dogs must be social and friendly.

Prices do not include GST.
Personal Protection training is available on request. Dogs must be tested and a criminal record check may be required.
Temperament testing is also available for litters, single puppies
and adults!
